  7. Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta is one of the longest serving players at the club. He’s been around through the reign of a few managers at this point, and he was here in the Jose Mourinho days where we had a superb defensive record. It must have been strange for him to play these last two seasons, leaking goals left, right and centre, and you can tell from his quotes in the Champions League press conference today that he’s not comfortable with the situation: “What is clear is that if we want to fight for everything we have to improve defensively,” Azpilicueta said in quotes picked up by G

  10. Fikayo Tomori has ended up staying at Chelsea despite having the chance to leave the club on loan for the season, and one of the main reasons for that is that he wants to learn from Thiago Silva. The former PSG defender arrived on a free this summer, and while the Brazilian has taken Tomori’s place in many ways, he’s not going to be around forever, and he has a huge amount to teach the players around him too. The Chelsea official website have some really interesting quotes from the defender where he explains why he outlined what he was hoping to learn from his new teammate over the course of

  11. I must admit, I was disappointed when I saw the Chelsea starting line up to face Southampton on Saturday. I don’t like to tweet too much negativity before a game, especially as I cannot predict the future and see how the game is going to go. I like to reserve my opinions until after the […]View the full article

  12. Chelsea only played on Saturday but already we are here talking about their next game tomorrow. Both Frank Lampard, and captain Cesar Azpilicueta, have been speaking to the media ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League Group stage clash against Sevilla. It is the first game of the new European campaign and the main subject for Lampard and his captain to deal with, was the defensive issues. Both were asked about how the situation at the back needs to improve, and Azpilicueta has very much backed his manager in agreeing the issue is both individual errors, and defending collectively. 13. It’s Monday morning and time for some reflection on Saturday’s antics. Chelsea were once again their own worst enemies against Southampton at the weekend, failing to see out an early 2-0 lead. Having conceded late on in the first half, the second half was always going to be a real struggle for Chelsea, knowing their defensive frailties and lack of individual confidence amongst some of the players. As expected, there was a calamity of awful errors from Kurt Zouma and Kepa Arrizabalaga to let The Saints back in, then inevitably Chelsea threw away all three points at the death. It is unfortun

But am still not confident that the virus has been maintained. I will not travel in the next few months or so. Better be save than sorry.

Plus with the unplanned events that came up after the pandemic hit, will push her to think outside the box. But her past record speaks for her, she has handled bigger tasks before this.

  36. Quite commendable for the sheet metal workers. This should act as an example to other corporates. They should do the same at this time of the pandemic. There is need for many such gestures. From the look of things, the fight against the virus will most definitely be an endless one. Requires concerted efforts from various sectors of the economy.

The song reminds me of the good old day, did they ever release any classic games on DVD? I remember clearly the Brisbane and Melbourne match of 1995. Most probably the Brisbane Bears game I ever watched on Television at the time.

  39. The two sports differ greatly. For instance in Australian rules, you can use your hands to handle and distribute the ball to your teammates. Although they don't look very different from the outside. You can tackle your opponent by grabbing them from the shoulder upwards. A good tackle can cause a free kick, based on what the arbiter thinks about the tackle and the time available to dispose the ball. Scoring There are 4 posts at each end. The outside posts are called the pint posts, and the two in the middle are the goal posts. The team earns 6 points when the ball is kicked bet

  44. Oh..my this is very unfortunate. Especially when it comes at the time when the pandemi restrictions were supposed to ease a little. I hope it was discovered early enough, so that he can be treated and released on time for the next open. This pandemic has really killed the sports industry. The impact will be felt in many years to come.

  45. It is not bad. William is getting old. He is in his 30s. But still to the advantage of Arsenal he is a good midfielder and a good playmaker. But when Chelsea and Arsenal are playing, there is alway a derbie between them since they are both from London. Plus since he knows the weaknesses of chelsea's game, he will sell it to arsenal. But since he was voted the best player in the Arsenal vs Fulham 3:0, it means he still has great value. This means Chelsea has lost a very big resource. Considering that last season they never won.

  46. This time, i think there is a high probability of him leaving. Barca is still a solid club, but lately it is a joke. As much as i don't want to admit, Messi will have to leave Barca to save his reputation. He has done a lot for the club and i think he deserves an even better club. Although am seeing him going to one of the England teams. He has been in Spain teams for long enough. It is time for change.

Congrats to Ohio for supporting and highlighting the initiative. Plus since Ebola is the target, this is like a double edged sword, that will handle the two killer viruses.
